On the nose, the wine shows beautiful fruit characteristics of black cherry and blueberry with a hint of cocoa and coffee nicely integrated. The mouth feel is full, plush and firm. While it is enjoyable now, the 2003 Main Street should continue to evolve and improve over the next five years.

The ripe black cherry and blueberry flavors coupled with moderate plus acidity and subtle tannins of the Main Street Cabernet Sauvignon create a perfect food and wine marriage. This wine is a perfect companion for slow-roasted beef tenderloin with a blueberry and black peppercorn reduction sauce.
