Pale bright yellow straw. Lemon peel, honeyed fruit, and menthol on the nose. Ripe, supple and rich, yet lean and precise with excellent mineral character.
Pairs well with shellfish and white meats in white wine sauces.
"Pale straw-green. Refined aromas of green apple, jasmine, thyme and anise. Flavors of lichee and minerals are given punch by mouthwatering acidity. This represents a much smaller cuvee than the entry-level riesling but there are still typically 3,500 to 4,000 cases produced. I found this to have more than a passing resemblance to the Riesling Frederic Emile in this vintage.

"Delicate, yet backed by focused acidity, offering subtle notes of chamomile, pink grapefruit, almond skin, pine needle and green apple, with a lingering, spice- and mineral-tinged finish. Drink now through 2020."
