winemaker's notes:

The wine is very attractive, full of charm after several years in the bottle. It is full-bodied, with great richness and layers of fruit. The wine is very ripe, with great depth and a beautiful, elegant mineral nuance. A classic Clos Ste. Hune. Aging potential: 10+ years.

The Clos Ste. Hune is delicious with smoked fish, especially salmon and trout. Dover sole and walleye pike are also great companions, as are grilled and marinated fish, or fish cooked in white wine sauces. It is also traditionally served in Alsace with goose and pork.
