Winemaker's Notes

The Tournon Mathilda Shiraz is a brilliant, dark ruby color. The nose is deep with black fruits and pepper aromas. The palate is supple and greedy with silky and elegant tannins.

This will pair nicely with all kinds of meat.

Definitely in the French style, terroir comes thru nicely reminding me of a S Rhone. Cherries, cassis, and wild mushrooms on the palate. Enjoyed with steak and was perfectly paired.
