winemaker's notes:

Take a tour of France's three most famous wine regions: Bordeaux, Burgundy, and the Rhône. Each wine is chosen to display the unique characteristics of the region it represents. Travel to Bordeaux with the bold Château Les Graves de Barrau, made by Dominique Hébrard of the Cheval Blanc family. Experience Bouchard's silky Burgundy from the birthplace of Pinot Noir. Explore the Côtes-du-Rhône with a spicy Grenache and Syrah blend from Louis Bernard. Passport not required.

Includes:

  • Château Les Graves de Barrau
The estate has been well-known for several centuries. This wine is medium-bodied with dark berry flavors, well-balanced tannins and a long, smooth finish.

  • Bouchard Bourgogne Pinot Noir
This wine exemplifies Bouchard's mission: "Always search for perfection in quality, authenticity in style and prestige in the name." A plump wine with a lot of fruit and a delicate note of wood, harmonious and well balanced.

  • Louis Bernard Côtes-du-Rhône
Ample and fruity with a gentle hint of oak. This wine is an excellent match for barbeque.
  • Please note that due to the popularity of this product, we reserve the right to substitute like wines and vintages.

I would buy this wine again

I gave away the Cotes du Rhone at a party, but I drank the Bordeaux and Pinot, which were both good for the price.

I would buy this wine again

I was curious about french wines and decided to try out the french wine pack. I was extremely pleased at the quality and samples provided. This pack is a good start if you are new and curious about french wines. Im sampling more french wines because of this package.

I would buy this wine again

I am a returning customer, last year I bought the tour of provence set and this year my expectations were once again surpassed when I purchased the tour de france set. My parents loved the gift and are very eager to taste the wine.

A Cabernet/Merlot. A Pinot Noir. A Syrah/Grenache. What wonderful way to taste very different types of wines. I now "Get It" about the main wine regions of France. Very tasty wines indeed.

A Customer - San Francisco
I recently had wine-lovering friends over for dinner and we turned it into a blind tasting with the Tour de France wines. It was a big hit and an eye opener for a few people. Everyone enjoyed the wines, even the wine snob of the group. Thanks.

A Customer - Miami
Just got the Tour de France pack for Christmas from my wife. It was the hit of our Christmas gathering. The wines were wonderful with the bird. Will be going back for me.

A Customer - Los Angeles
My wife and I enjoy wine but do not know much about French wines. What a wonderful (and tasty) way to get to know the three regions better. We had friends over and tasted all three of them in a tasting.

A Customer - New Jersey
Two thumbs up on the Tour de France pack. My wife finally got me a present I can use (or sip). A nice reminder of my travels in France. Oh, the wines are very good.

A Kosher wine begins like every other - as grapes on a vine. Once they reach the winery for crushing, the wine is under strict rabbinal supervision.

Screw Cap wine
Screw Cap
Many studies report and winemakers agree that screw caps protect wine better and preserve its flavor more effectively than cork. More importantly, screw caps eliminate cork taint caused by TCA, a compound which develops in a small percentage of corks and ruins the taste of wine.
