both estate-owned and contracted vineyards. The 70-year-old vineyards
provide the dense character and powerful dark fruit aromas. The 2006
vintage is full-bodied and fragrant, with sweet fruit flavors of black currant
and plums. Aromas of ripe, dark berry fruits merge with
rich overtones of dark chocolate and
gingerbread spice. Plush, mouth filling flavors of dark forest
fruits, plum and cocoa carried on a balanced
structure of fine, juicy tannins that create a
rich, persistent finish.
