The Winner's Wine from the The Winemakers, as seen on PBS, is a California produced, Rhone Valley inspired, red wine. Color: Mid to deep red with soft violet hues. Fresh, bright and crisp in color.
Aroma: Lovely soft red/blue fruit mélange with gobs of underlying spice and pepper.
Deep latent black fruits with hints of oaky vanilla, white pepper and violets.
Palate: Medium entry with tight, young fruit tannin supporting the red fruit palate with firm, almost lively crisp acidity to finish.
Bright fruit, fills the palate with a definite "food friendly" complexity, man this will be an absolute "hum dinger" with anything that involves Chorizo sausage.
