The Magnificent Wine Company House Wine Red 2007

Cabernet Sauvignon from Columbia Valley, Washington

Item No. 98555
  • red wine
  • W&S88

Winemaker's Notes

A blend of 73% Cabernet Sauvignon, 10% Merlot, 8% Syrah, 5% Sangiovese, 2% Malbec and 2% Cabernet Franc.

Let's face it, lays deep and full in the glass, opulent, smooth, lavender currents and charred meat. This is a silky wine definitely not a one trick pony. So just get on and ride!

Critical Acclaim

"A kitchen-sink blend emphasizing cabernet, this solid red ahs scents of black cherry and a hint of smoke. Its flavors are dense and chewy, with plenty of chunky tannins to work at your next barbecue."

I had noticed the label, and laughed about it...joking that it was probably very good. After reading The Wine Trials, I realized that this was a keeper. I have several favorites that are in the $80-100 price range, and this wine is just as good! I allow it to breathe for about 30 minutes, and it explodes with flavor! Nice job! Great price! The book really hit this one on the head!
