Have tried many Argentine wines, enjoyed several, but often found them a bit flinty and not full bodied. The bouquet of this Malbec aroused my curiosity, and the first taste told me this would be a pleasant surprise. This wine compares with California wines costing twice as much (or more) and was delightful throughout the meal (a hearty steak). Next time I will let it breathe longer before drinking. Have now recommended it to friends who are very discriminating in their wine choices.
