winemaker's notes:
This wine ages 12 months in oak barriques, then at least 6 months in the bottle. Bouquet in this wine is ample, intense and elegant, with berry fruit, chocolate and roasted almond notes that continue on the palate, sustained by superb structure and depth.
The blend is 70% Sangiovese and 30% Cabernet Sauvignon.

I had the please of dining with Roberto Guldener at a restaurant, Little Italy, in Northville, MI the other night. They pared all of his latest wines with each course. i must say they are the best super tuscans I have ever had. I always considered Brunello to be my favorite but I have reconsidered. we are planning a stay at the Villa il Tesoro in the fall and cannot wait!!

I have had many blends of Sangovese and Cabernet this one is amazing. I have recently had the 97 (3) liter and it was one of the best Tuscan wines I have ever had and I have had Plenty. Enjoy it with some freinds and a good tuscan style meal.

AMAZING!!! My friends bought one for me for my birthday and we drank it on a special ocassion. I can safely say it's the best wine I've ever had. Deep, complex, rich and unbelievably smooth with a balance of fruit and oak flavors. Simply fantastic.
