2009 was a warm and opulent year, resulting in a Chianti Classico with well developed flavors. The nose exudes exotic spices, licorice and ripe black
cherries. On the palate, there is a big, full mouthfeel with nuances of cinnamon, dried cranberries, and candied orange peel. The finish is long and persistent with hints of caramel. The bright acidity and firm tannins give this wine aging potential.
Pair with pappardelle with wild boar, aged pecorino, steak fiorentina, game and flavorful meat dishes.
