Actually, 4.4 stars. Color, this port has a nice, dense, a little bit aged color. On the nose, a lot of dried black fruits, dried raisins, some floral aromas coming through, a little (very little) hint of alcohol, but dried fruits are dominating in here, seductive. Midpalate, dried fruits still vibrant and dominating, black fruits coming through, full bodied, nice sweetness, blue berries. Finish, very smooth, dense, nice extremely smooth tannins, lingering in the mouth, textured, and very fine complexity, very balanced, very (sophisticated) finish, especially if you are having a fine cigar. Overall, this port is very well made. It will easily age for 50 to 60 years. However, if you're drinking it now, you indeed need to decant it for at least 2 days! Yes, two days! I am 95 on this effort. I can see it 96 after 25 years from now. Happy drinking!
