An exceptionally fine old tawny blend, aged for 10 years in oak casks. Elegant and smooth, combining delicate wood notes and rich mellow fruit, it is bottled for immediate drinking. A superb dessert wine, particularly with dishes made with chocolate, coffee or almonds, Taylor's 10 Year Old Tawny may also be served at the end of the meal in the same way as Vintage Port.
If a late bottled vintage Port seems too muscular, than this Tawny will be downright lithe and suave. Perfectly autumnal, it will accompany the last embers of the fire.
My favorite "every day" Port. Plus, as a tawny, you can have the bottle open indefinitely and it won't go bad, so you can always pour a taste after a meal.
One bite of dessert and this port becomes a taste sensation. Allow it to dance upon your tongue before swallowing. You will thank me and then the artists that create such beverage based masterpieces.
