Tablas Creek Tablas Estate Rose 2007
Rose
from Central Coast, California
winemaker's notes:
Tablas Creek 2007 Rosé is rich, ripe, and full of spice and fruit. It has aromatics of sage, plum and watermelon, flavors of strawberries and cherries, fresh acidity and a lingering finish.
Pair it with Mediterranean cuisine, Spanish tapas, preparations with garlic and olive oil, or just enjoy it outside on a sunny day.
"Light, amber-pink color. Dried red berries and orange peel on the nose, with floral and herbal notes adding interest; reminded me of a Tavel rosé. Bitter cherry and red berry flavors are firmed by dusty minerals, with a refreshingly tart quality on the back end. A serious pink wine that demands food." 89 Points
