Smooth & Supple

Medium bodied reds that go down easy, with smooth tannins and supple fruit.

Earthy & Spicy

Wines where earthy and/or spicy dominate the flavors – typically medium to full body.

Big & Bold

Full bodied wines that have concentrated fruit and are higher in alcohol and/or tannins. Some need age.

Winemaker's Notes

Deep red color with violet hints, elegant, ripe and rich, with different layers of black fruit, violets, black pepper, smoke and spicy aromas. In the palate is full bodied, with soft and velvety tannin, the selection of the French oak is fantastically integrated with the fruit resulting in a very complex and deep wine with great structure and remarkably long finish.

Critical Acclaim

"The 2007 Red Blend Reserva Especial is deep purple-colored with an enticing nose of cedar, spice box, violets, blueberry, and black cherry. Firm and well-balanced, it has plenty of savory fruit, excellent depth and length, and should offer prime drinking from 2011 to 2019. 89+ "
