Summerfield Reserve Cabernet Sauvignon 1999

The Summerfield winery is located in the scenic Pyrenees region of Victoria. Known for goldmining in the 1800's and then sheepgrazing for most of the 1900's, vines have been planted here since the mid-1800's but it's only been in the past twenty years that the wine industry has taken off. The dozen wineries in the area have established the region as one of the premier sites in the country for the production of distinctive Shiraz and Cabernet Sauvignon.
