My first exposure to this wine was at a tasting at the winery, and that tasting made such an impression that it is now a fixture in my cellar. I actually prefer it to Chardonnay. Fruity, but not overly sweet and not as dry as a Fume or Sauvignon Blanc. A great afternoon "by the pool" wine before the barbeque, or anytime you would serve a nice white wine!
