This wine presents with a deep, dark, purple hue. There is a dense ripe blackberry and cassis on the nose, with toasted barrel maturation, nutmeg and a subtle, earthy terroir. Flavors present a big, ripe, mountainside Cabernet Sauvignon showing blackberry, dark chocolate, espresso and a hint of dusty terroir. This is a big, ripe, structured Cabernet with a polished finish.
"The 2010 Cabernet Sauvignon Dollarhide Estate (100% Cabernet Sauvignon) boasts knock-out aromas of blackberries, blueberries, licorice, subtle smoke and background oak. The wine shows tremendous intensity, richness and opulence. Another great wine, it, along with its siblings, indicates that this winery is performing on all cylinders at present. Exceptional richness, density and purity are found in this stunning 2010."
