Bright lemon in color. The bouquet is classic Marlborough aromas of grapefruit, elderflower and ripe stonefruit. Juicy and lithe, the palate is full and rich with a ripe citrus flavour spectrum, the finish is persistent and dry.
"The 2010 Riesling gives pronounced notes of lime zest, kumquats, lemon juice and fresh grapefruit with nuances of coriander seed and frangipani. Light bodied and refreshingly crisp in the mouth, it has a medium-dry level of sweetness and very good concentration of citrus flavors, finishing long and a little chalky. Delicious now, it should evolve gracefully and drink to 2016+."

"An unusual style of riesling, this hints at flint (reduction) and fusel (touches of oxidation). It's a blend of several estate parcels, some fermented in stainless steel and others in older oak vats. The wine's earthy, nutty character is intriguing, and makes it a match for a meaty roast fish."
