The 2006 Estate Sauvignon Blanc is effusive in its expression of the site specific soils and climate of the Spring Mountain Vineyard. A floral perfume enhanced by white peach, nectarine, Asian pear and Meyer lemon and a subtle herbal quality offer a mouth-watering invitation to the wine. Rich and elegant on the palate, the abundant layers of fruit, linden and mineral mirror its aromatics. A crisp acidity balances a lush mouth-feel, making its lingering impression one of completeness.

A confident Napa Valley style adopted from Bordeaux, this deserves some bottel age and pan-roasted Dover sole with chanterelles."
