Winemaker's Notes

Mature, robust and somewhat earthy. Dried bay and tea leaves, leather, menthol, smoke, forest floor, minerals, but also some cloves and spice, candied apple, and brown sugar. Rolling, dark flavors. Spottswoode is a small, family-owned estate located on the western edge of St. Helena in the Napa Valley. Spottswoode focuses all of its attention on producing extremely limited quantities of two wines: Sauvignon Blanc and Cabernet Sauvignon.
