Winemaker's Notes

Petite Sirah has been a favorite of ours for a long time. Once one of the most widely planted grapes in California, Petite Sirah is known for deep color, luscious mouthfeel and wild berry fragrance. Our 2003 definitely exemplifies the irresistible characteristics that are Petite Sirah. The purple color catches you immediately and your eyes begin to taste. Aromas of violets and roses jump out of the glass. Flavors of fresh berries along with mocha and coffee dance on your palate. A broad structure with integrated, delicate tannins, create a great mouthfeel and an unmistakable desire for the next sip.
