I give this one three stars on the basis of taste -- it's a perfectly pleasant light white with little in the way of complexity. It isn't great, but there's nothing at all wrong with it. I certainly prefer it to some expensive, oaky California chardonnay. The fourth star is in appreciation of the low price.
