Alcohol By Volume: 12.0%

Alcohol By Volume Guide

  • 10%
  • 16+%
Most wine ranges from 10-16% alcohol by volume. Some varietals tend to have higher (for example Zinfandel and Cabernet Sauvignon) or lower alcohol levels (Pinot Noir and many white varietals), but there is always some variation from producer to producer. Some wine falls outside of this range, for instance Port weighs in closer to 20%, while Muscat and Riesling are usually a bit below 10%.

Winemaker's Notes

The wine contains 100 calories in each 5-ounce serving, which is 15 percent less than other wines, according to the USDA reference comparison. The Rose offers a slight blue note hinting at the abundant fruit. The aromatics burst with a bouquet of cherry, pomegranate and ripe citrus fruit. Juicy fruit flavors dominate and mingle with a refreshing strawberry lemonade character. The palate is soft and medium-weight with a touch of lively acidity.
