Simi Sauvignon Blanc 1999

The Sauvignon Blancs that I make in California are quite different from those coming from my native New Zealand. I have tried to retain all of the natural freshness and fruit found in this grape, while bringing an extra dimension of complexity to our wine. The richness of Sauvignon Blanc fruit is complemented by a spicy note in the aroma and a roundness in the finish coming from Semillon grapes. Complexity, crispness, and creamy texture define this unique Sauvignon Blanc, which is composed of 81% Sauvignon Blanc and 19% Semillon.
