Dark red with purple tones and up front aromas of berry with a hint of sweet oak. Cherries, berries and cassis flavors touch the palate. A lingering finish of elegant tannins and black spice completes this silky wine. Varietal Composition is 90% Cabernet Sauvignon, 5% Merlot, 2% Syrah, 2% Petite Syrah, 1% Malbec
Alexander Valley possesses the greatest diversity of soil types in any wine-growing region of California. It has a long history of dramatic geologic activity-from an ancient mudflow that changed the course of the Russian River, to earthquake upheavals that redistributed whole sections of land. The incredible diversity of soil types and microclimates produces wines with the velvety textures and bright, luscious flavors that are characteristic of Alexander Valley. Simi Alexander Valley Cabernet Sauvignon reflects the best of Alexander Valley's bright fruit characters and elegance that made this world-class growing region famous.

We love this wine. It's one of the best 20 dollar range Cabs around. You can't go wrong - you won't be disapointed. Try it!

Probably the brightest and most laid back Cabernet I've ever had. It goes down like silk and doesn't have any of the rough edges found in most red wines. Very fruity and pairs well with Italian food.

My wife loved it. And that's what makes me happy. This is a straight ahead, great value paired well with beef, grilled anything, mushrooms, peppers, chocolate. Drinks great now, probably better till 2012.
