A standout Napa cab, intense fruit, long lingering flavors and hefty tannins requiring a suitable match on the plate or long cellaring - or both! I prefer Phelp's Insignia, but only marginally, and how often do you get the choice? Good value for this quality.
This is a truly special wine. My favorite cab right now, period.
A nice wine, but not worth the $100+ retail price at a restaurant given all the other lesser priced wines that compete with similar quality. I'd happily drink it again but wouldn't rush out to buy it.
