The 1992 Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon has an intense ruby-red color and has the classic Silver Oak nose of cassis, blackberry jam, violets, chocolate, roasted coffee and ginger. This wine is full and rich in the mouth with a very long, slightly tannic finish. This Cabernet is drinking beautifully now and will continue to improve through 2018 given proper cellar conditions.
"The deeper purple-colored 1992 Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon, which is being released in February, 1997, does not exhibit any of the Alexander Valley's herbaceous side. It offers more of the classic blackcurrant, cedar character. There is plenty of high quality, sexy, smoky oak in the nose to go along with copious quantities of jammy black fruits. Full-bodied, with a creamy texture, and a sweet, expansive, chewy mid-section, this dense, exceptionally rich 1992 will provide gorgeous drinking for 12-15 years.
These All-American Cabernet Sauvignons continue to be 'can't miss' propositions with the majority of Cabernet lovers.

The Napa wine industry really took off in the 1980's, when vineyard...Read More About Napa Valley
(cab-uhr-NAY sow-veeh-yawn) King of Red Many refer to Cabernet Sauvignon as the king of red grapes. Perhaps that title is due to its ability to grow worldwide in a number of climates, or to the fact that it produces wine with such character yet such diversity. Either way, this grape is responsible, as a whole or a partner, for some of the greatest wines in the world. In Bordeaux,...Read More About Cabernet Sauvignon
