winemaker's notes:
Big, bold and beautiful! Rich McLaren Vale and Langhorne Creek fruit is given a spicy lift with the addition of grapes from Strathbogie in central Victoria.
Matured in older French oak barrels for 10 months, the wine expresses oodles of spicy dark berry fruits, plums and earthy mint.
On the palate, it's a succulent thunderbolt of pure shiraz, right down to the last gulp. Made with structure and grip, there's ‘no flies' on this wine – no dead fruit or raisined, jammy flavors - just a vibrant, juicy length that lingers with a clean ‘have another glass' finish.
Drink now or hide in the cellar for 3 years.
