Winemaker's Notes

This feisty combination of Grenache, Shiraz and Viognier oozes with well-ripened blackberry, plum and currant notes. Made with structure and grip, the vibrant, juicy length lingers with a 'have another glass' finish. Drink now or hide in the cellar for 3 years.

Food Pairings: Spinach salad with goat cheese and dried cherries. Penne pasta with feta, peppers and sausage. Soy-ginger flank steak with grilled eggplant

Critical Acclaim

"On the lighter side, with refreshing plum, cherry and white pepper flavors in modest proportions, finishing with a silky feel. Grenache, Shiraz and Viognier. Drink now through 2014. 5,000 cases imported. "
88 Points

"Ruby-red. Ripe cherry and blackberry aromas are complicated by subtle baking spice and smoky minerality. Pliant and sweet, with straightforward dark fruit flavors, no obvious tannins and gentle mineral lift. Very easy to drink, with good finishing sweetness and length."

Home to the red wine regions of McLaren Vale, Coonawarra and Barossa Valley, South Australia produces some of the finest red wines of the country, and some say in the world. White wines gain their reputation from the distinctive Rieslings of Clare Valley.
