Shimizo-No-Mai Pure Dawn Sake (720ML)
Junmai-Ginjo from Akita, Japan
Shimizo-No-Mai Pure Dawn is clear in appearance. The aroma has hints of orange peel and light floral notes, with an underlying minerality. It's fresh and well-structured, with subtle notes of pear and Fuji apple. Creamy mouthfeel, finishes soft-sweet to dry.
Small family sake breweries, dating back to 1656, came together in 1944 to reestablish themselves as Akita Shurui Seizoh Company. The credo of the brewery is a simple set of beliefs: we value quality first, we are one with the land on which we stand, and our sake is a reflection of the toji spirit.
