Twelve barrels from Block 7, all Wadenswil clone, were hand-picked to create this wine. The long, warm growing season brought out the best in Wadenswil. Bright floral aromas dominate the nose while spicy notes of blackberry bramble and plum excite the palate. Prominent tannins add to the wines complexity and interest.
"The 2009 Pinot Noir Block 7 is made from Wadenswil clone. It displays greater spiciness in its expressive nose, plenty of fruit on the palate, and a lengthy, fruit-filled finish. It can be approached now but will last for another 8-10 years. "
