I love the mix of shiraz and cabernet for depth, but it's not overwhelmingly tannic and is good right out of the bottle. The fruit flavor hit me first, but the dryness on the tongue soon brought out more smoky and jammy tastes, with a good finish. A very nice table wine or one that you would be proud to serve to your guests.
