Seresin Leah Pinot Noir 2005

A blend of grapes from three sites – the home vineyard, Raupo Creek and Tatou – fermented with indigenous yeasts, matured for 15 months in French oak barriques and bottled without filtering. This wine is deeply colored and impressively concentrated, with rich velvety plum, cherry, raspberry flavors followed by a flourish of black pepper, cinnamon spices and chocolatey oak on the finish.

"Medium red. Subtly spicy aromas of strawberry, raspberry, smoke and earth. Broad, suave and generous, with a silky texture to the tangy red berry and spice flavors. Finishes long and cool, with lingering spice character. Very sophisticated pinot noir."
