A blend of grapes from three sites – the home vineyard, Raupo Creek and Tatou – fermented with indigenous yeasts, matured for 15 months in French oak barriques and bottled without filtering. This wine is deeply colored and impressively concentrated, with rich velvety plum, cherry, raspberry flavors followed by a flourish of black pepper, cinnamon spices and chocolatey oak on the finish.
