This 2009 displays black tea and black cherry Cabernet aromas complemented with coconut and mocha from the oak. Showing all the finesse and complexity of a cooler vintage, the flavors emphasize black cherries, truffles, earth and dust. The finish possesses enough tannin to support the abundant levels of fruit. While this wine will improve and evolve over the next few years, it drinks superbly now.
An excellent choice for the money. Much fuller and robust than some of the lower end Napa Cabs. Nice finish. Hints of berries and earth. On my list of faves.
Very good, one of the better cabs offered, excellent for this price
