Bright, cran-rasberry and crushed black pepper aromas; indicative of non-raisiny Dry Creek Zinfandels with notes of white chocolate and espresso from the oak aging. The flavor has concentrated, raspberry fruit with almost sweet (from the oak) and lush palate with forest floor oak complexities. The finish is soft, and is extremely drinkable and fruit driven with wonderful coffee roast flavors. It is to be drunk in its youth, but will age nicely for about 3-5 years.
Blend: 82% Zinfandel, 13% Petite Sirah, 6% Syrah
Quite good. Raspberry, smooth, medium body. Not a HUGE zin, but not wimpy either.
Good zin full flavor and spicy.
