This black beauty offers the trademark graphite and blackberry character found in all Cherryblock bottlings. It is deep and expressive with damp earth, spice and "cigar box" oak seasoning. The flavors are concentrated, yet elegant with blackberries, currants, toasty oak and dusty Cabernet notes. Thanks to the soft tannins, it can be enjoyed now, but will develop and improve over the next 7 to 10 years. A harmonious blend of power and elegance, this is by far our most balanced Cherryblock ever.

The wine is medium-bodied, dry, silky and elegantly tannic, with complex cherry, currant, cola and cedar flavors. Should develop bottle complexity over the next 6–8 years."
