This late harvested wine is full bodied and rich with mouth filling ripe apricot, pineapple and honey overtones. The good acid balance results in a firm, lush, lingering finish that is very focused. Serve by itself or with a variety of fruits, cheeses and desserts.

Was visiting in Germany about 10 years ago and went to Eltville to a quaint cafe. We had the BEST wine and I think it was this Piesporter wine. Haven't been able to find it here in the US. I even kept the wine label for years in my purse in hopes of finding the same but never did and eventually threw the label away. But I am still looking...
