Winemaker's Notes

Moscato D'Asti is a unique wine where the beautiful aromas of the grapes are enhanced by a crisp, nice acidity, a light frizziness and the sweetness of the natural, residual sugar. The low alcohol content makes it a very easy, pleasant wine, perfect to finish a meal with dessert or alone, as a nice, mid-day break.

I have yet to find any d'Asti that can even approach the complexities of Saracco. This is by far one of the best bottles of wine I have ever had. Skip the dessert; this is cool, light and refreshing, leaving you fulfilled after a meal. I slightly prefer the 2007 vintage. People that don't even enjoy Wine, can't get enough this Moscato. The strong undertones of pear match perfectly with a decadent creme brulee. Just magnificent!

This is the best wine I've had. It tastes like biting into a fresh pear. It's sweet without being cloying, a delicious start to a meal.
