This dry white wine is pale straw-yellow in color. The clean, intense aroma and dry flavor with pleasant green apple aftertaste make Santa Margherita Pinot Grigio a wine of character and versatility.
Culinary suggestions: Excellent as an aperitif, ideal accompaniment to seafood salads and fish- and shellfish-based pasta and rice courses. Perfect with white meats and boiled or grilled fish and with soufflés.

Sometimes, there is a wine that goes so good with the food you have it with that you can not take a bite without also having a sip of the glass. I was out with my family at Morton's the other day and I could not get enough of the bread and butter with pepper to mix with my pinot grigio. The warm greens salad was the perfect follow. The wine brought out every vegetable in the mix. I ran out of drink by the main course and just drank water and tea (sweet of course in the South) the rest of the meal so as to not ruin the great memory of the taste. The bottle was 2.5 times retail price, but worth it all.
