This is the oldest Pinot Noir vineyard in the Santa Ynez Valley. Crafted from a combination of Dijon and Mt. Eden clones, the Sanford & Benedict wine has a spicy background and classic Pinot Noir acidity, making it an elegant but rich wine.
Saturated ruby/purple purple. Aromas of dark cherry and raspberry with a nice barrel note of toast and green tea. Cherries, raspberries, black currant, dense leather and earthy combine with brown spice flavors of nutmeg and cinnamon on a long finish.
