It is very hard to get good sake in America. SakeOne Diamond is one of the few varieties of junmai shu availible here. SakeOne follows 'all the rules' insofar as making sake in the traditional manner is concerned and produces a product superior to any you will find in the US. Diamond is my favourite of all the SakeOne offerings-- it has a great deal of character, is affordable, and it hasn't been sitting on the shelf for months (which, though good for wine, is not good for sake)!

This is an excellent sake... Junmai Ginjo is supposed to be the best quality sake you can buy. This is my first, and I have to agree -- it is superb! Good both warm and slightly chilled (I prefer sake cold)
This sake is very clear and clean -- the flavors are subtle and the scent reminds me of freshly opened bags of rice.
