winemaker's notes:
The 2004 Saint M Riesling is a fresh, fruit-driven wine with wonderfully ripe flavors of peach and apricot. The delightful flavors of Saint M pair with nearly any fare.
Saint M Riesling is crafted in a medium-dry style with lower alcohol and crisp acidity. Saint M finishes with a nice touch of minerality that is typical of the Pfalz region. Dr. Loosen very successfully crafted Saint M in a traditional style. Saint M is a fantastic value as a classic food-friendly Riesling from the Pfalz Region.

I went out to sushi this past Friday night. The restaurant had many wines to choose from, but I remembered riesling being a good pairing for seafood. We ordered a bottle of Saint M. and were very satisfied with how it complimented the sushi rolls. An excellent choice by far. I as well, am a fan for life now.

In Tennessee liquor stores are closed on sundays but I was determined to get me a bottle something. We went to a local italian restaurant and picked up some calamari and a bottle of this wine to go not knowing anything about it other than it was a semi-sweet. It turned out to be excellent. Really one of the best Rieslings I have had and even though I spent $28 for a bottle (restaurant prices) we still thought it to be worth it. If I can find it at the liquor stores for less I will be picking it up often.

At a dinner celebrating a special occasion at Fleming's in Baltimore, a choice of three different wines were brought to our table. The winner was "Saint M". The taste is impecable and soooooooooooo delicious.
