Winemaker's Notes

Pale straw with green hues. Intense and powerful aromas of blackcurrant, passionfruit, grapefruit and gooseberry. A full, crisp and powerful wine showing intense flavours of passionfruit and blackcurrant, with underlying gooseberry tones. This wine has mouth-watering acidity and an intense minerality balanced by a full yet elegant palate with a long, lingering finish.

This wine is an ideal match with antipasto, grilled seasonal vegetables or fresh seafood.

Perfect for drinking immediately this wine will be at its best over the next one to two years.

Critical Acclaim

"Initially tight, with a reductive scent of scallions, this opens with air, as it will with six months in the bottle. The flavors are clean and rainwater-fresh, with the fruit richness of nectarine and litchi. The acidity is finely integrated, providing the kind of crisp finish that suits briny oysters."
92 Points

"Bright in flavor and silky in texture, with lively lime and green apple fruit shaded with a hint of spearmint as the finish lingers attractively. Drink now. 8,000 cases imported."
90 Points

Typical great example of Marlborough sauvignon blanc with signature passion fruit and kiwi bouquet and taste. Citrus nose. Great pairing with seafood, cheese, or just sipping by itself any day of the year. Third time ordering. 90-91 point. Update: I bought it again, and it is good as usual.
