Cabernet Sauvignon has been produced by Rutherford Hill Winery for over twenty years. Since the 1996 Terlato purchase of Rutherford Hill, our estate owned vineyard in Rutherford has become an important location for Cabernet Sauvignon. This 2005 vintage demonstrates Rutherford Hill's ability to grow outstanding Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon. The wine is beautifully garnet colored, deeply flavored and presents the fruitful flavors expected from Cabernet Sauvignon. Aromas of boysenberry, vanilla, cayenne and cedar can be found while smooth, refined tannins and flavors of blackberries with spicy notes of pepper fill the palate. It is approachable, appealing and rich.
