Concentrated cassis and blackberry fruit aromas draw you into this wine. This fruit core is elegantly wrapped in hints of vanilla, clove, cigar box, and faint whiffs of olives and smoked meat. In the mouth the fruit is as pronounced and lingering as it is in the nose. The layers of fruit, spice, and oak unfold and integrate seamlessly into the lingering finish. The acid balance and fully mature tannins make this wine rich in the middle and velvety soft on the finish with the ability to improve through the next decade.
