Winemaker's Notes

A Bordeaux blend of 58% Cabernet Sauvignon, 29% Shiraz and 13% Merlot.

Deep crimson Red. Heavy savory oak aromas combined with pencil shavings and hints of dark fruits, plum and cassis. This wine shows great structure and balance. Initial Cabernet Sauvignon characteristics are followed up with a spicy finish from the Shiraz. With great tannin structure and a strong backbone this wine has excellent ageing potential.

Critical Acclaim

"Shows some mature hints at first, with cedar and coffee sneaking in on the dried currant, fig and blackberry fruit. But this gains steam on the palate, with tangy mineral, briar and grilled herb notes checking in on the lengthy finish. Cabernet Sauvignon, Shiraz and Merlot. Drink now through 2012."

This organization seemed to favor quantity over quality and had most...
