winemaker's notes:

Our Pinot Noir is a fresh, pleasing wine that captures the character of the Willamette Valley in Oregon. The color is a light, translucent ruby hue characteristic of Pinot Noir. The bouquet reveals notes of raspberry, baked cherries, violets and orange zest with a hint of herbs. On the palate, look for notes of raspberry, cranberry and spice enveloped in a light, food-friendly acidity. This wine will continue to improve in bottle for the next two to three years.

alcohol by volume: 13.3%
critical acclaim:

"Made for the Wilson Daniels group by the Ponzi family, this affordable red has a high-toned kirschwasser scent with a touch of raspberry, reminiscent of Beaujolais. Hints of smoke and root spice tug at the generous fruit. A simple pinot for a picnic. - Best Buy"

rating (4/28/2012):
A drinkable but not notable example of Oregon Pinot. There just wasn't much depth to stand out. For the price (~$20) I much preferred the Maysara Three Degrees Pinot.

A nice Pinot. Good value.

Very Good wine for the price, but a little light for my taste which leans toward a bolder Cabernet wine. Great price!

Pretty weak tasting with no outstanding flavor. Got better with air, and perhaps will moreso with time. Not terrible, but was disappointed. Screw-top lid. Actually better the second day. Weird.
