The 2009 vintage has beautiful aromas of nutmeg, sweet oak and red cherries that carry to the palate. This bright Cabernet Sauvignon has soft, balanced tannins that are complemented by notes of black current and red berries, with an elegant finish of sweet vanilla.

This wine tasted absolutely fake, and I was not satisfied. I tried this at one of Donald Trump's parties and was absolutely excited with its taste and aroma, so I ordered three bottles, but, ultimately, I was disappointed with the quality of this wine.

I've been a big fan of Roth Cabernet for many years, and have always rated it higher than many of the pricier ones (Trefethen Cab for example). However, their 2009 Cab completely misses the mark. I got 2 bottles, just to make sure. In my humble opinion the acid balance is completely off.
